Most of us throw on our favorite tunes when we go to exercise, without giving it much thought. It's almost instinctual, but does music really have an affect on our performance?

Great Q&A Adam and Chris! Music, I feel has a huge impact on many things that we do, including a workout. Even if it’s a nice stroll in the park to some soft/relaxing beats to a 5K run or workout to some dance or rock music with some hot beats, it affects the way we think and the way we perform. As for me, I find that music is very motivating. When I work out in a quiet room, I feel the emptiness in the room and almost sluggish type movements. When there is good music, you feel the beat … Whether it’s in your mind, your heart, souls, blood or your vibrations, or all of the above! The best way to describe it is as if your body goes into an autopilot mode with the music. It’s gets the job done and also increases your mood among many other things!! Whether it’s “Sweatin’ to the oldies” with Richard Simmons or getting your Zumba grove on, turn that music UP!

Hey! I just had an AWWSOME workout with Chris last night. It was killer hard, but with the right tunes, I kicked it into high gear!!! Whether it’s Katie Perry or Michael Jackson, it gets me pumped to work out harder!!! Thanks to Chris, I’m back in action!!!! Thank you!!!! I recommend Rage Against the Machine, just don’t punch somebody
