Fitness While Traveling

Often when we think of traveling (vacation, business trip, etc.), it seems like we have to push “pause” on our fitness routine.  I’m here to tell you that’s not the case.

Check out this short video where I give some tips on how to approach travel to ensure that you’re able incorporate exercise into the trip. You’ll be glad you did!

Hey guys…Chris here and I’m actually on my way to a mini “vaca” at the beach and I just wanted to take a minute to talk about Fitness while your away.  Whether your traveling for business, going on vacation or just something takes you out of your routine.

So what I’ve done is I’ve actually done a little bit of homework and I have researched…I’ve just Googled the area that I’m going to and found a gym that I will be using this weekend. Really that’s all it takes.  A little bit of preparation and of course plan your day accordingly.

If you’re going on business you might have to take into consideration when you have to meet a client so you may have to go beforehand or when you guys wrap-up.  Again…plan accordingly.

A lot of hotels have fitness centers in them (or what they call fitness centers). A lot of times it’s just a treadmill but that’s better than nothing.  The other thing that you can do is that you can do body weight exercises. Again…planning ahead. You can get some bands or you can just do straight body weight exercises.

The other thing for me this weekend is I’m going to be near the beach so I can either in conjunction with or instead of a gym, use the beach – do a beach workout.
